Happy Holidays
In a world we think we know, we know little. Halloween and Thanksgiving have passed, now Christmas is upon the United States. In a fashion sticking with the traditional [religious] view we at Gutsy Nomad honor Christmas as a time for family gathering, for rebirth of the soul and happiness.
In relation to the above, Gutsy Nomad holds no official affiliation with any religion. It's important to our goal to honor what holidays we can with the resources we have. Being respectful to all is important to us, and we feel that leading by example is the way to be. Think of us as a mini Switzerland, who remains neutral on the World political stage; similarly we remain neutral on many social issues. As mentioned we feel strongly about respect, each person doing everything within their power to remain respectful to one another.
Gutsy Nomad is involved in the design and retail trades. We love the product we provide to our customers, but even more important than a luscious leather backpack or a rugged leather wallet is the connection made between people. Earlier in the year we hinted at launching a program to send an American (who otherwise couldn't afford it) overseas to meet our artisan in Nepal. Progress has been made on the program; narrowing details and learning how to proceed have been ... time consuming. We are adamant about the program and will continue to work until we're happy with the result.
Enjoy the holidays no matter where you are in the World. Find a new friend, explore a new idea, sit with family for dinner, help another who needs it; be happy, be healthy because this is your time to make your life all that you want it to be!
